WHO WE ARE?
Ujala Welfare Society Ghourghushti is a non-profit charitable organization registered since 2005. We execute emergency relief operations during or after natural or man-made disasters, we also work on long-term healthcare programs, community support and education & poverty alleviation programs.
It all started with few good men sitting together in the Ghourghushti village with an intention to help the less fortunate in the community especially by providing for an effective ambulance service to those in need.
In 2004, the society was made with the blessings of the local people after we received their assurance & affirmation of intend to help the needy brethren made things easier to assemble and get started with this great cause.
We started our operations by putting our first ambulance to work, thus providing a new service to the locals of Ghourghushti.
Ujala Welfare is a non-political and non-profit organization. It follows hundred percent donation policies. In order to deal with administrative expenses, assets have been made.
From the day of the establishment of the Ujala Welfare, its UK counterpart has been a major reason behind organizations success to date as its major contributions are from the UK. It is all thanks to the Pakistanis in UK specially Chaachi brethren. From the very beginning Ujala Welfare UK has been giving services by collecting funds from UK’s different cities mosques and its own district. Following the country’s (United Kingdom) rules Ujala Welfare UK was registered in 2016 with the facility of bank account making it easier for the residents there to donate for the valuable cause.
Ujala Welfare UK is a non-political and non-profit organization. Ujala Welfare UK follows a hundred percent donation policy. Approach to our services and funds has been made very simple for the ones in need. The funds are delivered to the deserving people keeping in mind their privacy without any recommendations. The donor’s record are saved on our database so that it becomes easy both for the organization and donors to collect funds in times of need. The funds collected for Zakat and Sadqat (charity) are kept separate and for this two bank accounts are being used and distribute accordingly. Ujala Welfare UK is working for the welfare of the society without any discrimination only for humanitarian purposes and has no connection to any political organization.

The terms and condition to have our enrollment is the individual ought to be 18 years of age or above, he/she isn’t associated with any suspicious activities, is liberated from political predisposition and has the soul of being committed to the philanthropic administrations.
